The software is self‑hostable and released under the GPL‑2.0 license, allowing libraries to run it on their own servers without subscription fees. Recent releases have upgraded the staff interface to a newer Angular framework and included numerous bug fixes, such as improvements to hold processing, barcode handling, and duplicate submission prevention.
