Everything by mdfind is a macOS utility that provides fast file searching by tapping into the native Spotlight index. It supports queries on file names and content, and offers filters such as size ranges, extensions, case sensitivity, and directory scoping, allowing users to narrow results quickly.

The interface includes rich previews for text, images, SVGs, video, and audio, together with an integrated media player that supports playback controls and volume adjustments. Users can organize results with sorting, perform batch operations like open, delete, copy, move, or rename, and manage multiple searches in separate tabs. Themes and layout options let users customize the look, while export functions generate JSON, Excel, HTML, Markdown, or CSV files.
