FireAlpaca is a free digital painting program that runs on Windows and macOS and supports ten languages. It offers a range of high‑quality brushes, including analog‑style tools such as pencils and watercolors, as well as specialty brushes for flowers, lace, patterns, and effects. Users can customize brush parameters like spacing and spray intensity, with changes shown instantly in a preview.

The software includes additional drawing aids such as brush texture options, post‑drawing adjustments (e.g., forced fade‑in/out, ink pool, hand lettering), frame work tools, RGB shift, speed lines, concentration filters, Japanese pattern filters, and a mesh deformation feature.
