Gopass UI

Gopass UI provides a graphical front‑end for the Gopass password manager, allowing users to search, view and edit stored secrets without using the command line. It launches a search window with a keyboard shortcut (⌘ + Shift + P or Ctrl + Shift + P) and presents a visual interface for common actions such as browsing entries, copying passwords and managing GPG passphrases. The application is packaged for macOS, Windows and Linux in various formats (deb, RPM, snap, AppImage, Gentoo), though only macOS builds receive official testing and support.

The tool is intended for teams that already use Gopass and want a desktop UI to simplify secret handling across multiple platforms. It relies on an existing Gopass installation and recommends a dialog‑based PIN entry utility for entering GPG passphrases, improving usability over terminal prompts.

Source code and release binaries are available on GitHub, and contributions are welcomed through pull requests and issue tracking. Development documentation explains how to build and extend the project.
