Gutenprint

Gutenprint supplies a collection of printer drivers that enable high‑quality printing from Unix‑like systems using the CUPS printing system and from the GIMP image editor. It supports a wide range of hardware, including models from Canon, Epson, Lexmark, Sony, Olympus, DNP, Citizen, HiTi, Mitsubishi, Sinfonia, and printers that use the PCL language. The drivers are distributed as source code, with binary installers historically available for older macOS releases, though macOS support has been deprecated and no new binaries are being produced.
