A self‑hosted web application lets users create and organize personal checklists and notes without a database, storing all content as simple Markdown and JSON files in a single directory. The interface includes a drag‑and‑drop checklist editor with progress bars, categories, Kanban boards and time tracking, as well as a cleanYSYSIWYG note editor that supports full Markdown, syntax highlighting and TipTap features.

User management is handled through an admin panel, and the system supports sharing via public links, multi‑user accounts, and integration with OIDC providers for single sign‑on. Optional on‑the‑fly PGP encryption protects stored data, and a REST API provides programmatic access to notes and checklists. The app offers fourteen built‑in themes, custom theme and emoji support, and a mobile‑first progressive web app with partial offline caching.

Deployment is straightforward, with a recommended Docker Compose setup and additional community scripts for platforms such as Proxmox and Unraid. The project is released under AGPL‑3.0, is free of subscription tiers, and is positioned as a lightweight, private alternative to other note‑taking services.
