Memos
Knowledge base that works with a SQLite db file.
A self‑hosted timeline for quick capture of notes, daily logs, links, and snippets, Memos stores each entry as plain Markdown and supports tags, tasks, and links without requiring folders, titles, or templates. The interface follows a “capture‑first” philosophy: write a memo, then organize later, keeping the workflow minimal and fast.
All data resides on the user’s own infrastructure, with options for SQLite, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. The project offers a single Go binary (≈20 MB) and a lightweight Docker image, making deployment straightforward on a Raspberry Pi, VPS, or cloud server. Zero telemetry ensures full ownership of the content.
Memos is MIT‑licensed, open source, and provides REST and gRPC APIs for integration. It is stable, free of subscription tiers, and can be extended or customized by developers, while community channels such as Discord and a live demo support new users.
