Koodo Reader

Koodo Reader is a cross‑platform eBook application that runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and via a web interface. It can open more than fifteen common ebook formats such as EPUB, PDF, MOBI, AZW3 and comic‑book files, allowing users to read their collections without converting files first. The program stores library data, reading progress, bookmarks, highlights and notes, and can synchronize this information across devices through a wide range of cloud services and standard protocols like WebDAV, FTP and SFTP.

The interface offers flexible layout options—including single‑column, two‑column and continuous scrolling—along with night and theme modes for different lighting conditions. Readers can customize fonts, spacing, margins and colors, and use built‑in tools such as text‑to‑speech, instant translation, dictionaries and rich‑text styling for annotations. AI‑powered features provide translations, dictionary lookups and summary generation to aid comprehension.

Koodo Reader is released under the AGPL‑v3 license, with its source code available on GitHub. The project encourages contributions, issue reporting and for requests, positioning it as an open‑source solution for users who need a unified, feature‑rich ebook experience across multiple platforms.
