LiveCodes is a client‑side code playground that runs editors, compilers, formatters and execution environments directly in the browser. It supports a wide range of languages and frameworks—including React, Vue, Svelte, Solid, TypeScript, Python, Go, Ruby, PHP and many others—without requiring any server‑side infrastructure for core functionality. Users can write, preview, and share code instantly, import modules from npm, deno.land/x, jsr, GitHub and other sources, and embed the playground in web pages with a simple script tag.

The project is open‑source under the MIT license and can be self‑hosted on any static file server, CDN, or via Docker for additional optional services such as short‑URL sharing and broadcast. No database, build steps, or subscription fees are needed, and unlimited private projects are allowed.
