Marta is a native macOS file manager written entirely in Swift, offering a fast, keyboard‑centric interface alongside mouse support. It handles a wide range of archive formats—including ZIP, RAR, 7Z, TAR, ISO and others—allowing users to browse and edit files inside nested archives without extracting them. The application respects user privacy by not collecting or transmitting data.

The program is highly configurable, providing a DSL for editing and sharing settings, five built‑in themes, and the ability to create custom themes. Power users can extend functionality through a Lua‑based plugin API, and a quick‑search panel supports substring and regular‑expression queries. Additional conveniences include an actions panel, hidden‑file toggling, file preview, a task queue for managing operations, disk‑usage analysis, and a built‑in terminal with synchronized directory navigation.
