MeshCentral
Run your own web server to remotely manage and control computers on a local network or anywhere on the internet.
MeshCentral provides a self‑hosted web interface for remote administration of computers across a local network or the internet. After installing the server, administrators create device groups and deploy a lightweight agent on each target machine; the agents report back, allowing the devices to appear in the browser‑based console within minutes.
The platform offers web‑based remote desktop, terminal access, and file management, all delivered through standard browsers. It supports multi‑factor authentication, TLS encryption, reverse‑proxy configuration, and integration with services such as Let’s Encrypt, HashiCorp Vault, and single‑sign‑on. Documentation covers server setup, database handling, IP filtering, branding, and advanced networking features like port mapping.
MeshCentral runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, and FreeBSD, and is distributed under the Apache‑2.0 license. It is free to use, requires no subscription, and is maintained as a community‑driven open‑source project.
