ShellHub

Modern SSH server for remotely accessing linux devices via command line (using any SSH client) or web-based user interface (alternative to sshd).

ShellHub acts as a centralized SSH gateway that lets users connect to Linux servers and embedded devices from any location. It supports standard SSH clients such as OpenSSH and PuTTY, as well as a web‑based interface and mobile app, eliminating the need to manage public IPs, router configurations, VPNs, or jump hosts. The system provides native SSH, SCP/SFTP, and SSH port forwarding, enabling command‑line access and secure file transfers through familiar tools.

Security features include public‑key authentication, configurable firewall rules that filter SSH connections, audit logging, and optional session recording for compliance. These controls allow multiple users to share system accounts without exposing passwords and give administrators fine‑grained access management across diverse environments, from data‑center servers to IoT edge devices.

The project is self‑hostable, open‑source under the Apache‑2.0 license, and offered without subscription or tiered pricing. It targets individuals, small businesses, and larger enterprises that need a unified, secure way to manage a heterogeneous fleet of Linux devices.
