not-th.re provides a web‑based paste sharing service that stores text and files only after encrypting them on the client side. The interface uses the Monaco code editor, offering syntax highlighting, dark mode and file‑transfer capabilities while ensuring that no cookies, tracking or advertisements are involved. Users can run their own instance or connect to the public UI, and the platform supports additional features such as Excalidraw integration.

The project includes a command‑line client and a Docker image for interacting with the API, allowing encryption, decryption, upload, download and query operations directly from a terminal. The CLI is distributed via npm and can be installed globally, offering commands for managing encryption seeds, viewing license information and checking server statistics.

All components are released under the AGPL‑3.0 license, are self‑hostable, and are free of subscription requirements. The software is positioned as a simple, secure alternative to existing pastebin‑style services, targeting developers who need encrypted, shareable snippets with an integrated code editor.
