Notchi

Notchi is a macOS‑only utility that lives in the display notch and monitors the activity of Claude Code, providing visual feedback for each operation performed by the editor. It updates in real time to reflect thoughts, tool calls, and error messages generated by Claude Code, allowing users to stay aware of the program’s internal state without switching windows.

The software targets developers and power users who work with Claude Code on macOS and want a constant, unobtrusive indicator of the editor’s behavior. By positioning its interface in the notch, Notchi offers a persistent yet compact view that does not interfere with the main workspace.

Implemented as a stable release for macOS Sequoia, Notchi integrates directly with Claude Code’s runtime, reacting instantly to each event. Its purpose is to serve as a lightweight companion that keeps users informed of ongoing processes while they continue coding.
