OpenAudible
Audiobook manager for Audible users
OpenAudible lets Audible subscribers download their purchased audiobooks from Amazon’s servers and store them locally as MP3 or M4B files. The application handles conversion quickly, supports importing existing audio files or directories, and provides tools to split or join chapters. An integrated player allows playback within the program, and users can export their library lists to various formats or drag titles into external players.
The software is available for macOS, Windows, Linux and Docker, and it works with all Audible regions. It offers a searchable, organized view of the entire collection and includes multilingual support for English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and additional languages. Users can rely on a built‑in AI chat assistant or email support for troubleshooting.
By keeping downloaded files on the user’s own device, OpenAudible ensures the library remains accessible even if Audible’s service changes. The program is ad‑free, digitally signed, and has been actively maintained since 2020.
