Paranoia File & Text Encryption

The program encrypts files and text using a selection of strong symmetric ciphers, including AES‑256, RC6‑256, Serpent‑256, Blowfish‑448, Twofish‑256 and GOST‑256. The Pro edition adds Threefish‑1024, SHACAL‑2‑512 and a proprietary Paranoia C4‑2048 cipher. Users can also embed encrypted data within JPEG images via steganography, choosing either the classic F5 method or the content‑adaptive J‑UNIWARD algorithm, which aims to reduce visual distortion and increase resistance to detection.

For key exchange, the software implements a post‑quantum key encapsulation mechanism based on ML‑KEM as defined in NIST FIPS 203. Passwords are never transmitted directly; instead, encapsulated key material is exchanged, allowing secure sharing of encryption keys between parties. The application builds on earlier S.S.E. File Encryptor and Paranoia Text Encryption projects and provides a client‑side AES encryption option online.

It is distributed as an MSI installer for 64‑bit Windows 10 or newer, a PKG package for macOS, and a DEB package for Linux, and is marked as stable for macOS core platforms.
