Pindrop.js
Drop comments anywhere on any web page. Online Offline.
A zero‑dependency JavaScript layer adds visual feedback directly onto any web page. Users can drop pins on live DOM elements, write comments, and resolve items without taking screenshots or leaving the page. The tool works both online and offline, storing annotations locally until they are exported or synced.
It is aimed at designers, developers, QA teams, and anyone who needs to capture feedback in context. Pins record the element selector, browser size, URL, and request details, and can be exported as JSON or Markdown. The library can be hooked into custom back‑ends via a simple adapter, and it also supports AI‑driven agents that can automatically place notes on detected issues.
The package is experimental, open source, and requires no framework such as React. Installation is a single npm command, and the system operates without user accounts, keeping data private by default while allowing optional sharing through API or webhook integration.
