SC Menu

SC Menu adds a small status‑bar icon on macOS that reflects the presence of a PIV‑based smartcard. When a card is inserted the icon turns green; when it is removed the icon becomes blank. Selecting the icon opens a menu that lists the certificates stored on the card and can display additional information such as expiration dates.

The application can be configured through macOS Configuration Profiles, allowing administrators to disable update checks, control notification behavior, and specify scripts to run automatically on card insertion or removal. Settings include Boolean flags for enabling these features, paths to the scripts, and an integer defining how many days in advance to warn about certificate expiration.

SC Menu can be registered or unregistered to launch at login via command‑line arguments, and it is built with Swift 5 for macOS 13 or newer. The project is released under the MIT license and is considered stable.
