Low Profile

Low Profile is a macOS utility that reads and visualizes the contents of Apple Configuration Profiles. It parses the payloads contained in a profile and presents details such as description, payload type, supported platforms, identifiers, UUIDs, display names, organization information, and availability. The app also shows the full property‑list keys for each payload, including nested payloads for Managed Preferences, and highlights custom third‑party payloads with their certificate data, arrays, and dictionaries.

The tool extracts and displays certificate information from signed profiles and flags potential problems like deprecated or duplicated property keys. It supports all Apple‑defined payload types across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS, giving administrators a clear view of what a profile will enforce before installation.

Low Profile runs on macOS Ventura 13 and later, is built with Swift 5.10, and can be obtained from the project's GitHub releases page or via Homebrew. It is intended for macOS administrators, developers, or anyone needing to inspect and verify MDM configuration profiles.
