SEGGER Embedded Studio for Arm and RISC-V

SEGGER Embedded Studio is a multi‑platform integrated development environment focused on embedded applications for Arm and RISC‑V processors. It combines a code editor, compiler, linker, runtime library, graphical debugger, simulator and package manager in a single application, allowing developers to manage, build, test and deploy firmware without switching tools. The IDE includes built‑in toolchains from SEGGER as well as GCC, and can also work with external toolchains such as LLVM, IAR or the ARM/Keil compiler.

The environment targets developers of microcontrollers with constrained resources and heterogeneous multi‑processor systems, offering features that aim to minimise executable size and maximise execution speed. It provides RTOS awareness, code analyzers and a Visual‑Studio‑like interface to aid productivity, and includes libraries and example projects to accelerate common functionality implementation.
