Should I Go Outside?
Weather app that tells you when to go outside
The app provides a single, concise answer—YES, NO, or MAYBE—about whether to go outside, based on real‑time weather data. It removes detailed maps and long‑range forecasts, showing only a quick snapshot of temperature, wind speed, precipitation chance, and air‑quality index. Users can view an hourly breakdown, wind gusts, UV index, and other details when they need more context.
It is aimed at people who engage in outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, or running and want a fast decision that matches their personal comfort thresholds. Each activity can have its own set of rules, allowing users to define limits for heat, cold, wind gusts, rain probability, and air‑quality levels.
The interface presents the answer with brief reason tags and lets users adjust the four metric thresholds to suit their preferences. The app is available on iOS and Android and is currently in an experimental stage.
