Sync-my-L2P

The application downloads and keeps up‑to‑date all files stored in the L2P and Moodle services of RWTH Aachen on a local computer. Users can configure filters and settings to select which documents are synchronized, and the program remembers login credentials and browser state to streamline repeated use.

Its graphical interface is designed to be self‑explanatory, allowing users to start a synchronization with a few clicks without needing technical knowledge. The tool runs on Windows, macOS and Linux because it is built from platform‑independent code, and it is distributed as free, ad‑free open‑source software.

The source code is publicly available and has been reviewed by the university’s data‑protection office, providing a level of security and transparency. Maintenance and further development are now handled by a team from the RWTH computing centre and Moodle service.
