TUISIC

TUISIC is a terminal‑based music streaming client that lets users search, play, and download songs without needing an account. It aggregates tracks from several online sources—including JioSaavn, SoundCloud, LastFM, ForestFM, and YouTube—providing playlist management, a favourites list, and easy sharing of URLs. Navigation follows Vim‑style keybindings, and optional daemon mode allows background playback.

The application integrates with desktop environments via MPRIS DBus support and can display real‑time audio visualizations through the optional Cava visualizer. It also offers experimental features such as AI‑driven recommendations through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), Discord Rich Presence, and on‑the‑fly lyric display. Configuration is handled through a simple file, and the program can be built from source on Linux, macOS, and other Unix‑like systems, with optional AUR packaging for Arch Linux.

Target users are command‑line enthusiasts and developers who prefer a lightweight, ad‑free music experience without a graphical browser, while still accessing a variety of streaming services and optional smart‑assistant integration.
