Vine Server

Vine Server implements a VNC server for macOS, allowing remote graphical access to a Mac desktop using the RFB protocol. It builds on the historic OSXvnc codebase and includes support for modern Intel and Apple Silicon hardware, as well as high‑resolution (Retina) displays. The server encodes screen data with libjpeg‑turbo, which is bundled as a submodule for easy compilation, though the library is required only at build time.

The project is intended for developers and system administrators who need to provide remote control of macOS machines, particularly in environments where a lightweight, open‑source VNC implementation is preferred.
