Xliff Editor

Xliff Editor is a macOS‑only application for opening, editing, and managing XLIFF v1.2 localization files. It includes a custom XML parser that can handle complex structures such as segmentation, inline tags, and alternate translations, and it also supports reading SDL Trados files and exporting to XLIFF, XZ, and Xcode .xcloc formats. The program provides standard editing features like undo/redo, spell‑checking, and note fields, along with fuzzy and regular‑expression search to locate strings quickly.

The interface is built with native macOS APIs, offering a lightweight footprint of under 6 MB and minimal memory usage. Users can edit multiple files concurrently, use configurable keyboard shortcuts, and benefit from highlighted search results and protected inline elements.
