A free, open‑source real‑time strategy game set in antiquity, 0 A.D. lets players command historical factions in battles that span the Bronze Age to the early Classical period. The game is developed by Wildfire Games, a worldwide volunteer team, and is distributed under the MIT license for code and CC‑BY‑SA 3.0 for artwork, allowing anyone to download, modify, and redistribute it without cost, subscription, or advertising.
