AdventureLog

AdventureLog lets users record each place they have visited, adding details such as dates, descriptions, photos, ratings and custom categories. The data is visualized on an interactive world map where locations can be filtered by visit status and new entries added with a click. A dashboard aggregates travel statistics, showing totals for countries, regions, cities and other milestones.

The application also provides a trip‑planning interface that supports itineraries, daily activities, collaborative notes, packing checklists and resource links. Users can view plans as a list, on a map, or in a calendar view, and can share individual locations or whole trips publicly or keep them private.

Built with SvelteKit, TailwindCSS and Django backed by PostGIS, the software is self‑hostable, open‑source under GPL‑3.0 and offers a free tier without subscription requirements. It targets travelers who want a simple, extensible way to track past adventures and organize future journeys while retaining full control over their data.
