AirTrail

A web‑based system lets individuals record and view every flight they have taken, presenting the data on an interactive world map and offering searchable, filterable history. It aggregates statistics such as total distance, time in the air, visited airports and airline breakdowns, giving users insight into their travel patterns.

The application supports multiple user accounts with built‑in authentication and optional OAuth integration, allowing shared access while keeping data private. A responsive interface works on any device and includes both light and dark themes. Flights can be imported from a range of external services, including MyFlightRadar24, App in the Air, JetLog, TripIt, Flighty and byAir.

Designed for self‑hosting, the software runs via Docker or Docker Compose on Linux, requiring only a single command to start. It is released under GPL‑3.0, fully open source, and includes documentation, a demo site and contribution guidelines.
