Chronos Timetracker
Desktop client for JIRA and Trello
Chronos Timetracker is a desktop client that connects to JIRA (and optionally Trello) to let users track time spent on issues without leaving the application. It presents a minimalistic task view where you can open a tracker, browse issues, change their status, and start or stop a worklog. When work is finished you can move the issue to “Done” directly from the client.
The tool records detailed worklog data, including screenshots, activity types, comments, and allows manual entry of additional logs. All logged information is stored locally and can be uploaded to JIRA, providing a richer history than native JIRA worklogs. The project is open‑source, MIT‑licensed, and its source code is publicly available on GitHub.
Chronos Timetracker is built with Electron, React, and Redux, making it cross‑platform for macOS, Linux, and Windows. It is free to use, and a complementary JIRA plugin called Chronos Timesheets offers team‑wide views of worklogs, salaries, screenshots, and activity levels.
