Pomotroid is a configurable Pomodoro timer that runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. It lets users set work and break lengths, choose the number of rounds before a long break, and control the timer with global shortcuts even when the window is hidden. The application displays native desktop notifications, a dynamic tray icon, and can stay on top of other windows or minimize to the tray.

The program records every completed session and presents the data in daily, weekly, and all‑time views, including charts and a 52‑week heatmap. It ships with 38 built‑in themes that automatically follow the operating system’s light or dark mode, and users can add custom themes by placing a JSON file in the themes folder, which loads instantly.

Additional features include optional ticking sounds, customizable alert audio, compact window mode, diagnostic logging, and an optional local WebSocket server for external integrations or stream overlays. The software is built with Tauri 2, Rust, and Svelte 5, and is released under an open‑source license.
