Cloudlog

Log your amateur radio contacts anywhere.

Cloudlog is a self‑hosted web application written in PHP and MySQL that lets amateur radio operators record contacts (QSOs) from any device with a browser and an internet connection. It runs on standard Linux servers with Apache or Nginx, requires PHP 7.4 or newer and MySQL 5.7 or higher, and can be installed manually or via Docker for development. The software includes a QSO entry panel, map‑based visualisation of contacts, and integration with external services such as Logbook of the World, eQSL, QRZ Logbook, and Clublog, allowing automated uploads and award tracking for DXCC, WAS, VUCC, IOTA, SOTA and others.

The project targets hobbyist radio operators who need a portable, browser‑based logbook that can be accessed from any platform, including support for microwave QSOs on 64‑bit systems and optional CAT interfacing. Its open‑source MIT licence, free‑tier availability, and lack of subscription requirements make it suitable for users who prefer to host their own instance. Community contributions are encouraged, and the codebase is built on CodeIgniter 3 with a Bootstrap 5 front‑end, supplemented by HTMX for dynamic interactions.
