Colorpicker

The desktop application offers an intuitive interface for selecting and managing colors directly from any part of the screen. Users can capture a color with a picker tool, view its hexadecimal and RGB values in real time, and adjust it using three RGB sliders (with future support for HSL, CMYK, and others). The toolbar and keyboard shortcuts give quick access to all functions.

In addition to picking, the program provides a “Colorsbook” where colors can be saved into multiple palettes for later reuse. Selecting a saved color returns it to the main interface for further editing. A tinting feature generates three shades based on HSL, allowing designers and developers to explore variations and refine their palettes.

The software is open‑source, free to use, and positioned for stable, ongoing development. It targets designers, developers, and anyone needing a lightweight yet complete solution for color manipulation and organization on the desktop.
