Pro Picker

Pro Picker is a native macOS color‑selection utility that integrates with the system colour picker, allowing users to access its panel in any application that relies on the standard picker, such as Pixelmator, TextEdit, and ColorChooser. It presents RGB and HSB values together in a single interface, mirroring the layout of Photoshop’s colour picker, so adjustments can be made without navigating through submenus.

The tool offers several interaction modes: fixed‑hue, saturation, or brightness spectrums can be displayed instantly, while dynamic sliders provide live previews of how changes affect the current colour. The colour spectrum is rendered programmatically rather than using pre‑generated images, which maintains high fidelity regardless of palette size.

Users can select colours by clicking or dragging on the spectrum, with the sliders and numeric fields updating in real time. Conversely, editing a numeric value causes the spectrum to reflect the new colour immediately, enabling precise and responsive colour selection across the macOS ecosystem.
