CornerCal provides a minimalist calendar and clock widget that lives in the macOS menu bar. It displays the current time and a compact monthly view when opened, following the native macOS visual language and supporting Dark Mode on Mojave and later. The app is built with Swift 4 and runs on macOS Sierra 10.12 and newer, offering a lightweight alternative to the built‑in system clock.

Users who prefer a clean, unobtrusive status‑bar utility can install CornerCal, hide the default clock via system settings, and rearrange the menu bar items by holding ⌘ while dragging. The design intentionally avoids complex calendar functionality such as events, reminders, or extensive theming, keeping the interface simple and focused on time and date.

Future updates are planned to add keyboard shortcuts for navigating the calendar, while the core philosophy remains a straightforward, native‑styled clock app for macOS.
