Hatsu
Bridge that interacts with Fediverse on behalf of your static site.
It provides a self‑hosted bridge that lets a static website participate in the Fediverse without any manual interaction. When a Fediverse user looks up a site‑specific address or URL, the bridge redirects the request to a corresponding ActivityPub profile or post hosted on the bridge instance. It also handles follow requests, pushes new site posts to followers, and feeds replies from Fediverse users back into the static site, all automatically after a one‑time setup.
The bridge works with any static site generator and most static hosting services, using JSON, Atom, or RSS feeds as the data source instead of requiring microformats2 markup. It can be deployed via Docker, runs on Rust, and supports both x86_64 and aarch64 architectures. Compatibility with Mastodon, Pleroma, GoToSocial and other ActivityPub platforms is achieved through signed HTTP requests and signature handling.
Hatsu is released under the AGPL‑3.0 license, is free to use, and does not require a subscription. It is positioned as a lightweight, fully automated alternative to other Fediverse bridging solutions that rely on Webmention or manual updates.
