Hiccup
Beautiful static homepage to get to your links and services quickly. It has built-in search, editing, PWA support and localstorage caching to easily organize your start page.
Hiccup provides a static start page that aggregates a user’s most frequently visited links and services into a single, fast‑loading homepage. The interface supports featured links, categories, tags, and drag‑and‑drop editing, while a built‑in search bar can query various providers or custom sources. Configuration is stored in a JSON file and persisted locally via the browser’s localStorage, with optional remote profile loading, multiple profiles, and caching strategies.
The project is self‑hostable and can be deployed as a plain static site, through Docker, or on any static‑site hosting service. It includes progressive‑web‑app support, keyboard shortcuts, read‑only mode, and full keyboard navigation, making it usable on both desktop and mobile browsers.
Hiccup is released under the MIT license, requires no subscription, and is positioned for users who want a lightweight, customizable start page without server‑side processing or external data collection.
