Host awesome karaoke parties where everyone can easily find and queue songs from their phone's browser. The player is also fully browser-based with support for MP3+G, MP4 and WebGL visualizations.
Karaoke Eternal is a self‑hosted system that lets participants browse a web interface on their phones to search for and queue songs, while a browser‑based player handles playback. The player supports MP3+G files with CD‑G lyrics, MP4 videos, and WebGL visualizations that sync with the music, and it can run fullscreen on any device that supplies audio and video.
The platform offers multiple rooms that can be password‑protected, dynamic queues that keep ordering fair, and easy joining via QR codes or guest accounts. It runs on a wide range of hardware—including Windows, macOS, Raspberry Pi, and Synology NAS—without ads, telemetry, or a subscription model.
Installation is provided through several methods, and the project is open‑source under the ISC license, encouraging community contributions and allowing users to tailor the karaoke experience to their own audio setups.
