KeyCombiner
Instant shortcut lookup
KeyCombiner lets macOS users organize, learn, and practice keyboard shortcuts across many applications. Users can import shortcuts from a public database that includes tools such as VSCode, Vim, IntelliJ, Gmail, Notion, and Excel, then arrange them into personal collections. The app offers interactive practice sessions that employ spaced‑repetition algorithms and advanced statistics to track progress.
A core feature is instant shortcut lookup: pressing a configurable hotkey (default Meta/Cmd + Alt + C) displays the shortcut for the active application without leaving the current window. The same mechanism can retrieve any user‑defined text snippet, making it useful for remembering Git commands, regex patterns, or programming language constructs.
KeyCombiner also provides curated courses and lessons created by domain experts, allowing users to study small, focused sets of shortcuts. Collections can be edited, duplicated, and expanded manually, supporting a flexible, flash‑card‑style learning workflow.
