Keysmith
Create custom keyboard shortcuts for anything
Keysmith lets macOS users record a sequence of mouse clicks, keystrokes, and menu selections and assign it to a hotkey that can be triggered from any location or only within a specific application or website. During recording it automatically detects buttons, lists, and page loads, and the resulting macro can be invoked directly or searched by name through a Spotlight‑like bar. The tool also supports embedding AppleScript, enabling users to combine recorded actions with custom scripts.
The utility is aimed at people who want to automate repetitive tasks such as navigating web services, highlighting text, or interacting with desktop apps without writing code. It is useful for power users, developers, and anyone who frequently performs the same series of actions across different programs.
Keysmith is a native macOS application written in Swift, supporting Dark Mode and Retina displays. A free version allows up to five macros concurrently, while the full version removes that limit. It runs on macOS Catalina or newer.
