LinuxGSM
CLI tool for deployment and management of dedicated game servers on Linux: more than 120 games are supported.
The tool provides a command‑line interface for installing, configuring, and controlling dedicated game servers on Linux. It automates dependency checks, downloads server files, applies default configurations, and supports start/stop, scheduled tasks, and console access. Ongoing management includes automated updates via SteamCMD or other methods, monitoring for crashes, and sending alerts when issues arise. Backup creation and detailed server information are also available through the same interface.
It targets system administrators and hobbyists who run game servers on Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, or similar distributions and want a lightweight, script‑based solution. By handling the repetitive setup and maintenance steps, the tool lets users focus on gameplay rather than low‑level server administration.
The project is written in Bash, released under the MIT license, and supports more than 120 (currently 139) game titles. It is self‑hostable, free of subscription fees, and maintained as an open‑source, community‑driven project with regular updates and documentation.
