Luminance HDR

Luminance HDR offers a full suite for high‑dynamic‑range photography, handling both the merging of multiple exposures and the subsequent tonemapping of the combined image. Its Qt5‑based graphical interface runs on Windows, macOS and various Unix systems, and it accepts input in many formats including JPEG and RAW, while allowing output to JPEG, TIFF and other types with 8‑ or 16‑bit depth.

The software provides several tonemapping operators, batch processing for both merging and tonemapping, a command‑line interface, and a color‑managed workflow that integrates with downstream post‑processing tools. Users can work with 16‑bit per channel RAW files to preserve detail throughout the pipeline.
