Password Gorilla
Password database manager
Password Gorilla is a password database manager designed for macOS. It stores and organizes passwords in an encrypted database, allowing users to retrieve credentials when needed. The application is built with Tcl/Tclkit, compiled as a universal binary for macOS, and supports localization through the msgcat facility.
The software targets developers and other technical users who require a local, self‑hosted solution for managing passwords on their Mac machines. It runs with ActiveTcl 8.5 series and uses the ttk‑expansion for its graphical interface, providing a familiar look and feel for Tcl‑based applications.
Password Gorilla is released under the GNU General Public License version 2 (or later), permitting redistribution and modification. Source code and documentation are available online, and a wiki page offers news, troubleshooting tips, and a possible fix for macOS‑specific issues.
