Scout-App

Simple Sass processor

Visit

Scout‑App provides a graphical interface for compiling Sass and SCSS files into CSS, allowing web designers to work with Sass without using the command line. It supports both the original Sass syntax and SCSS, includes Compass features, and can run custom mixin libraries. The application offers project management tools such as manual or automatic theme selection, alert and error notifications, and optional desktop or audio alerts, while keeping console output silent and human‑readable.

The tool is cross‑platform, with builds for macOS, Windows, and Linux, and it is localized into more than thirty languages. Users can create and edit projects, view compilation results in the UI, and receive desktop notifications when builds succeed or fail. The software also supports the newer SassC compiler as well as the legacy Ruby implementation.

Designed for web designers who need a straightforward, visual workflow for Sass preprocessing, Scout‑App aims to simplify setup, organization, and compilation of stylesheets while remaining stable and actively maintained.
