SlidePilot

SlidePilot is a native macOS application designed for presenting PDF slide decks, with particular support for LaTeX Beamer output. It lets users arrange three display components—current slide, next slide, and notes—in a presenter window, allowing flexible layouts that keep the most relevant information visible during a talk. Notes can be taken from Beamer class notes or added in RTF format using the built‑in editor.

The tool includes on‑screen drawing and pointer features, enabling presenters to highlight content or draw directly on slides, and offers a canvas mode for drawing on a white background. Timing utilities such as a stopwatch, timer, and clock help speakers manage their presentation duration.

SlidePilot can be controlled remotely via a companion iOS app, allowing presenters to switch slides and adjust layouts from an iPhone. It works with any PDF presentation, though it is optimized for Beamer‑generated PDFs.
