Stoa for Mac

The application turns any existing folder on macOS into a visual gallery, displaying images and videos in a masonry layout with large previews and infinite autoscroll. It lets users browse, rename, rotate, tag, comment, and react to files directly from the keyboard, while keeping the original files in place—no importing, no library creation, and no migration.

It is aimed at users who want a fast, focused way to explore and organize personal media without duplicating data or using separate catalogues. The interface includes a sidebar, tab bar, folder bar, pinned items, and history to streamline navigation and repetitive tasks.

A companion screensaver, Stoa Saver, can display the same annotated media, reflecting comments, reactions, and color tags added in the main app, turning the screensaver into a living, scrollable showcase of the user’s curated content.
