Ultra TabSaver

Ultra TabSaver is a Safari extension that lets users capture and organize browsing sessions. It can store the current tab, all tabs in a window as a Tab Group, and later retrieve individual tabs or entire groups. Within a Tab Group users can open all saved pages with one click, rename the group, copy URLs to the clipboard, add new URLs, or delete specific tabs or the whole group.

The extension stores tab URLs in macOS user defaults, using the group name as a unique key, which prevents duplicate group names. Interaction is through the extension icon or context‑menu entries, providing both left‑click and right‑click options for opening, copying, or managing tabs. It requires macOS Catalina or newer and can be run unsigned by enabling the appropriate Safari developer setting.

Designed as an open‑source, free‑tier utility, Ultra TabSaver is stable on the master branch while experimental features reside on the develop branch. Contributors can fork the repository, modify the Xcode project for code signing, and submit pull requests. The project includes documentation for installation, building, and debugging.
