Shattered Pixel Dungeon

Shattered Pixel Dungeon is a traditional roguelike dungeon‑crawling RPG where each playthrough generates a new layout of rooms, enemies, traps and items. Players choose from six distinct heroes—Warrior, Duelist, Mage, Cleric, Rogue and Huntress—each with two subclasses and a set of talents that can be upgraded as they descend through up to 26 floors across five regions. The game offers a large inventory of equipment, consumables and alchemical items, together with enchantments, upgrades and magical accessories that affect combat and utility.

The procedural generation system creates trillions of possible floor configurations, while a catalog tracks more than 500 discovered items, enemies and traps. Over 60 enemy types, 30 traps and 10 bosses provide varied challenges, and the talent tree and subclass choices allow players to tailor their hero’s abilities and end‑game powers. Regular content updates add new features roughly every three months, keeping the experience fresh.

Designed as an open‑source continuation of the original Pixel Dungeon codebase, the game targets players who enjoy classic roguelike mechanics, strategic character progression and high replayability through randomised content. It runs on macOS as a stable release.
