Sound Control

Sound Control provides fine‑grained management of audio on macOS, letting users adjust volume, balance and equalizer settings for each individual application. It supports per‑app routing, so audio from one program can be sent to a specific output device while other apps continue using the default speakers. The app also hosts Audio Units, allowing custom effects and graphic EQs, and includes a library of headphone calibrations from AutoEQ for precise tuning.

Power users can assign hotkeys or MIDI controls to change volume, mute or EQ for the foreground app, with options to mute all background applications. Balance controls enable left‑right adjustment per app, and a mono down‑mix option consolidates audio to a single channel. The software integrates with macOS’s audio system and is offered as a stable, subscription‑eligible product.
