Brooklyn
Screen saver based on animations presented during Apple Special Event Brooklyn
Brooklyn is a macOS screen saver that reproduces the animated sequences shown during the Apple Special Event at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on October 30 2018. It runs locally without an internet connection and offers both light and dark visual themes. Users can choose which animations to display, set the number of loops for each, and randomize the playback order through a preferences pane.
The saver can be installed manually by downloading the .saver bundle or via Homebrew Cask, and it requires macOS 10.11 El Capitan or later. Configuration is performed through the System Preferences screen saver panel, and a Terminal command is provided for programmatic activation. Uninstallation is supported through System Preferences or Homebrew.
The project is released under the MIT license, is marked as stable, and is not actively maintained; bug fixes are offered on a paid basis. It includes Homebrew support and a simple installation workflow, making it suitable for macOS users who want a lightweight, offline screen saver reflecting the Apple event visuals.
