MusaicFM Screensaver

MusaicFM is a macOS screen saver that visualizes the album artwork from a user’s Spotify or Last.fm listening history. By connecting to a Spotify or Last.fm profile, it retrieves the associated tracks and displays their cover images in a rotating collage, similar to the classic iTunes screen saver. The saver runs automatically when the system is idle and can be configured through the macOS Screen Saver preferences panel.

The software targets macOS users who want a personalized visual background reflecting their music taste. It is installed either via Homebrew or by downloading a .saver bundle and adding it through System Preferences. Within the screen saver options, users can log in to their music service and adjust display settings such as rotation speed and artwork selection.
